Italian Clam Pasta

With its simple but very tasty mix of fresh clams, garlic, white wine, and parsley, this Italian clam pasta recipe takes you right to the coast of Italy. You can feel like youre in the Mediterranean every time you eat this delicious dish.

Ingredients:

  • 400g linguine pasta
  • 1kg fresh clams, scrubbed and cleaned
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to cook linguine until it is al dente

Remove the water and set it aside

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat

Add the red pepper flakes and minced garlic

Saut until the garlic smells good

Put the cleaned clams in the pan and then pour the white wine over them

Put the lid on and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the clams open

Delete any clams that arent opened

Put cooked pasta into the pan with the clams

Toss the pasta with the tasty sauce to coat it all together

Taste and add salt and pepper to the pasta

Then, sprinkle chopped parsley on top

Serve hot, and if you want, top with more parsley
