Paleo Texas-Style Pork Ribs

Dominas Valdosta

These Paleo Texas-Style Pork Ribs are packed with flavor and perfect for a barbecue. The rub adds a smoky and savory taste while keeping the dish Paleo-friendly. You can adjust the sweetness by adding honey, but its optional.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pork ribs
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey optional, for added sweetness

Instructions:

Preheat your grill or smoker to 250F 120C

In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create the rub

Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork ribs, covering all sides

In a separate bowl, mix apple cider vinegar and olive oil

Place the ribs on the grill or smoker and cook for 3-4 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily

If using honey, brush it onto the ribs during the last 30 minutes of cooking for added sweetness

Once done, remove ribs from the grill or smoker and let them rest for a few minutes before serving

Enjoy your Paleo Texas-Style Pork Ribs
