Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 slices of ham
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Get the burger patties ready while the grill heats up
Add salt and pepper to the ground beef, and then form it into four patties that are all the same size
Put the minced garlic and olive oil in a small bowl and mix them together
Spread this on the hamburger buns with a brush
Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them until theyre done the way you like them
For medium-rare, this usually takes about 4 to 5 minutes per side
Add a slice of Swiss cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of grilling and let it melt
The ham slices should be grilled for one to two minutes on each side until they are hot all the way through and have grill marks
Put yellow mustard and mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the grilled buns before putting the burgers together
On each bun, put a cheese-covered patty, then a slice of grilled ham, pickles, and onions that have been thinly sliced
Put the other half of the bun on top, and your ham and Swiss cheese Cuban burgers are ready to eat
