Ingredients:
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts optional
Instructions:
Put parchment paper around the edges of an 8-inch square baking dish, leaving some overhang to make it easy to take off
Put the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave
In 30-second increments, stir the mixture in the microwave until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth
Add the vanilla extract and salt and mix them in well
When you add nuts to the fudge, make sure the nuts are well mixed in
Pour the fudge mix into the baking dish that has been prepared and spread it out evenly
Put the fudge in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it gets firm
When the fudge is set, use the extra piece of parchment paper to lift it out of the dish
To make the fudge, cut it into squares or rectangles
Serve and have fun
