Ingredients:
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta
Remove the water and set it aside
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat
It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of cooking after adding the diced chicken until it is browned and fully cooked
Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for another minute or two, until the garlic smells good
Add the broccoli florets and sun-dried tomatoes and mix them in
Cook for two to three minutes, until the broccoli is soft
Turn down the heat and add the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese
Mix the sauce well and until it is smooth
Add pepper and salt to taste
When you add the cooked pasta to the pan, toss it around so that the creamy sauce covers everything evenly
Add fresh basil leaves on top and serve hot
