Hands Hartlepool

These Homemade Sushi Stacks are a tasty change from regular sushi rolls. These are great for a fun dinner or get-together with friends because they look good and taste great.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned with rice vinegar
  • 1/2 pound sushi-grade raw fish tuna, salmon, or yellowtail, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Nori sheets, cut into small squares for garnish

Instructions:

To make spicy mayo, mix mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a small bowl

Put away

Put soy sauce and sesame oil in a different bowl and mix them together

Put away

Put sushi rice on the bottom of a round mold or a small bowl

Cover the dish with avocado slices, then cucumber slices, and finally fish slices

Add some spicy mayonnaise on top of the fish

Put more layers on top of each other until the mold is full, ending with a layer of rice

In order to flatten the stack, gently press down on it

Carefully get rid of the mold

Spread the soy sauce mix out over the stack

Cover it with sesame seeds and top it off with nori squares

Follow the steps again to make more stacks

Serve right away and enjoy
