Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Gold sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water
Mix until well combined
Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with the chocolate cake batter
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean
While the cupcakes are baking, prepare the filling
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat until it begins to simmer
Remove from heat and add the milk chocolate chips
Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth
Let it cool to room temperature
Once the chocolate filling has cooled, use a cupcake corer or a small knife to make a hole in the center of each cupcake
Fill the holes with the chocolate filling
In a separate mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy
Gradually add the confectioners sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until the frosting is light and fluffy
Pipe or spread the frosting on top of the filled cupcakes
Decorate the cupcakes with gold sprinkles for a luxurious touch
