For a healthy twist, ripe avocados are used to make this rich and creamy chocolate mousse. It tastes great, is vegan, and doesnt have any dairy.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Fresh berries, for garnish
Instructions:
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor
Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor
Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed
Transfer the mousse to serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
Garnish with fresh berries before serving
